Junya Ishigami is an architect who has received high international acclaim, including the Japan Institute of Architects Award for his debut work, "KAIT Workshop," and the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition.
This long-awaited monograph, his first in eight years, introduces the concepts behind each of his 17 architectural works, including the visitor center in a public park in the Netherlands completed in 2017, a French restaurant in Ube, Art Biotop Nasu, and ongoing projects such as the renovation and expansion of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum, along with his architectural philosophy that supports them, through rich language and large, double-page drawings and photographs.
Furthermore, this book was published in collaboration with the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art as the catalog for his large-scale solo exhibition at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris.
Japanese edition. This is the Japanese edition of the two editions, Japanese and English.
